I broke my daughter's tea set. I dropped the kettle and it busted right in two. I wouldn't of cared if it was one of the cups or a plate, but it was the kettle! The most important piece of the set! I felt horrible. I didn't tell her for two days. I couldn't. I just knew it would break her heart. Lately she has been really into playing tea party so when I told her I broke it, I was completely taken by surprise. She was a little sad, but seemed weirdly ok with it. Her response; "Mommy, I'm so glad you told the truth." Ha! She just cracks me up! Of course she immediately said she wanted a new one and that we should "just go buy one."
I said, that maybe we could ask Santa for one.
She said, great let's write him a letter.
I said, awesome, let's do it.
So, yeah, we wrote a letter to Santa in October on some scrap paper.

Can I add to the letter?
Santa, may I please suggest a tea set that won't break if it is dropped? Because I am sure it will be dropped, if not my me, by Claire. And, come to think of it, probably thrown by Charlie. One that is pretty durable, ok?. Oh, it needs to be cute and a little stylish. Maybe one like this, or this, or this. What do you think? Thanks.
