I live in such a great place. One of the things that makes it so great is that I have incredible neighbors. And one of those neighbors just happens to be a great friend with a girl a little older than Claire. We love Lily. She is smart, kind, creative, loving and has the cutest little voice in the whole world. Lily decided one day that it would be fun to have a lemonade stand and invite Claire to join her. She got it all set up, even made a sign,
"Best in town! $.25 Fresh Lemonade!"
Her mother helped the girls make lemonade and set up the little stand. They had glass cups, a bowl to wash the cups after each use, a money jar and a red gingham table cloth. What more do you need? They set up in front of Lily's house, but weren't getting much traffic, so they decided to change locations and move up to our house on the corner. That was a smart business move. They sold quite a few on the corner, each taking home $1.80! So proud of our little entrepreneurs! (Charlie and Noli were there too, but they mostly drank the lemonade and lounged in the shade!)
