Office Overhaul : Part 2

Here I am! I am finally getting around to posting about the office. I have been a bit busy as of late and will tell you more about it later. Tim and I loaded up the kiddos the day after the below post and headed down to IKEA. It was quite a pleasant experience, which is odd because IKEA seems never to be a pleasant experience with children! Tim and I settled on buying a bookcase and a desk attachment in white... it took a little convincing by me. But in the end, I think Tim was happy with everything. Here is my messy bedroom with all the crap from the office. My old empty desk. I have to admit... I didn't clean my office as much I should have and it was filthy when we took everything out. Especially the walls. I had to scrub them! Both kids helped with that. That was awesome. (Please sense my sarcasm!) The kids also helped Tim put it all together. Claire was in charge of the pegs. Charlie was in charge of dusting everything with his bum. It was a long night putt...

Pumpkin Carving with Cousins

Claire wanted a pumpkin that had a smile and a surprised look with eyebrows. Harrison wanted his to look like a transformer (his is the tiny one at the bottom). Charlie thought the jack-o-lanterns were the bees knees. Ava was over it, except for her hoodie. Baby Matt just slept, ate and pooped. It was a great night.

12 Months

My little Charlie Man can: Point with his stubby little finger Laugh like crazy Wrestle with Dad Play roll ball with Claire Beg for food from Mom Pull himself up on the side of the tup Stand on his legs with his hands still flat on the floor Crawl super fast Dance (if you call shrugging his shoulders a dance) Drink from a sippy cup Eat cake like it's nobody's business Drive cars around the house Make car noises Make you ooh and ahh when he wears his bow ties (Claire told my friend Meg the definition of handsome the other day, "when a dad or a boy wears a bow tie or a tie.") He weighs 21 lbs (Claire is 28 lbs) and is 29 inches tall. He has a big round head and hardly any hair. We celebrated his birthday with family, cupcakes, a delicious peach pie and a game of wiffle ball in the front yard. We love you Charlie!
