There are few things in Tim's life that he just LOVES:
Me (thank you!)
Claire
Chips
The Gospel
and now...

his 1973, brown, beefy, smelly, old, dirty GMC truck. In his words, "it's freakin' awesome." He has really enjoyed hauling dirt, mulch and sand, taking fallen tree limbs (ours and the neighbors) to the dump and picking up snow blowers and rototillers. He takes it to scouts, he takes it to Lowe's, and he especially loves to take it around the block to give it "a nice warm up."
Back in September we all (even Claire) headed up to Kayesville to buy our new trees. Tim drove, I sat in the middle, all romantic like, and Claire was strapped in on the passenger side. The windows were rolled down (no air conditioning and only one vent for heating) and the country radio station wailed away some Alan Jackson. There we were. All three of us enjoying some time as a little family. We couldn't go on the freeway, I can't remember why, so we went on all the back roads through Farmington and Fruit Heights. The wild sunflowers were in full bloom and fruit stands dotted the highway. It was a beautiful sight. The ride was long and bumpy, but worth every minute. Thanks, Tim for a wonderful memory.
The other day Tim said to me, "I will never go without a truck ever again. I just love that thing!" I am glad you love it. I love that you love it.
