Well, Hello.

So, I just haven't felt like writing anything lately. Nothing fun or interesting has happened. Just lots of work, messy diapers, laundry, puffs and graham crackers.

I will try and muster up some things about my little family:

Tim:
He just got back from a Scout sponsored ice fishing trip. All the scouts caught their own fish! Of course none were the right size to take home, either too big or too small.

He is almost done with school, April 24th, GRADUATION! Can you tell I am a little excited! I am so proud of him. He is working so hard and never complains. Me, on the other hand, complain almost every day about how this whole "working mom" thing is the pits! He just smiles and tells me he loves me and that he is grateful for what I am doing. He is so good.

Me:
See above.

Also, I am obsessed with this blog, as are many of you. This woman is amazing! Her photos, her recipes and her love story of her and her husband! Doesn't it make you want to go buy a ranch and fall in love all over again?!!! (With my husband, of course.)

I am getting very excited for my mom to come out and visit! She is coming to see her beautiful grandbabies and give advice to first-time gardeners (my sister Annie and I). I just adore my mom. She is simply amazing. I am very grateful to have an influence like her in my life. She is definitely one-of-a-kind.

Claire:
She is growing every day! Becoming more and more like a little girl. She is almost 10 months, can you believe it? Some things she does:

Eats little chunks of food off her high-chair tray, freeze dried apples, bananas and strawberries and little pieces of bread, puffs and crackers. Not loving pureed baby food all that much anymore. Is this common?

Sits up really, really well.

Likes to be on her tummy. Well, kind of.

Rolls around the living room.

Stands holding on to everything. Hasn't quite figured out how to walk along things yet. But, she does stomp her feet. Her favorite place: the crib.

Laughing at herself. It's really funny to hear her do this because she could be just playing with her toy basket and you hear this little giggle come from under her breath. One day I peeked my head around the corner to find her cracking up while waving an old plastic checkbook cover in the air!

Yelling, singing and screeching, "mmmama, mama, dada, dee, dee, dee!"

Clapping her hands.

Swinging in her jumper. Yes, swinging, not jumping.

Two bottom teeth. Sorry Grandpa, I haven't got a good photo of those to little buggers yet! (But, you can kind of see them in the first photo! Look really hard!)

Wow, more stuff than I thought was happening. Now that I am in the swing of writing I could go on and on...

But, I need to do a little thing called work.

Until next time.

I promise it will be sooner than later.

Like, maybe tomorrow.

Well, let's shoot for Monday.

Oh my gosh Em she's too cute for words! I loved reading this post. You have lots to blog about! Once I started doing it everyday things just come and it's fun to document everyday life.

...and I totally got obsessed with the Pioneer Woman's love story last week! I couldn't put the computer down until I finished! It totally does make me want to move to the country and fall in love all over again...of course with Mark! He could wrestle cattle and ride horses all the while making my heart go pitter patter! Love it!
She is so so so cute Emily! I love when their personalities come out and those little babes start to shine. I esp love the babbling and just when they seem to enjoy life. Ah to be a baby and have no worries!

That baby is so cute. She's always been a doll, and seems to be getting cuter and cuter with age. I'm glad you're having so much fun with her.

I'm so excited that your mom is coming! My mom is coming too and I just know the joy and excitement that proceeds a visit from mom. Your mom is so neat -- I'm sure you'll have so much fun with her, gardening and lovin' up those little grandbabies.
Also wanted to let you know that the header you designed for Kate's blog is so darling. You're neat, too!

I miss Claire so much. She really is turning into a little person. I still can't believe how tiny she is. I love those little red tights, do you think she would let me borrow them?
