The Real World Champs

Yes, we all know who won the World Series, the Boston Red Sox, but these two are the real champs. Claire and her cousin Harrison went as the Boston Red Sox for Halloween yesterday. Tim thought of the idea (brilliant!) and I stayed up all night sewing them. I am pretty proud of them, but don't look too close! (This was sewing project #2, I have only done one other sewing project, and that was a quilt, which I still haven't finished.) After I finished the first one, I tried it on Claire (she was up for a 2 am feeding) and realized there was no way it was going to fit Harrison, because it barely fit her! Of course, I had already cut out my pattern, and didn't have enough to cut more, so I had to add some additional scrap fabric. It was stressful! It ended up looking OK, actually, not really because now it was too big! Oh, well. The little boy who wore it stole the show anyway! Happy (late) Halloween!

(This is for you, Uncle Matt! We love you!)

Way cute Emily! Those two are too cute!! Although being that I live here in Colorado I have to shed a tear for our Rockies losing to the Sox.
